A few simple steps to help your item age gracefully.

Bags and faux leather materials

Daily care. Avoid prolonged contact with moisture. If your bag gets wet, air dry it, never use a hairdryer or radiator.

Cleaning. A slightly damp soft cloth is sufficient for common faux leather material. For stubborn stains, use a specific cleaner for synthetic leather-like materials, testing first on an inconspicuous area.

Storage. Keep the bag stuffed with tissue paper, away from direct light, in the protective dust bag provided. Avoid plastic covers that prevent the material from breathing.

Shoes

Before first wear. Spray with a waterproofing agent suitable for the material. This protects them for the first few wears.

Daily care. Air out your shoes between wears. Insert wooden shoetrees to maintain their shape.

In damp weather. Allow to air dry, stuffed with crumpled newspaper to absorb moisture. Never on a radiator.

Polishing / cleaning. Use a soft brush after each wear to remove dust. Use neutral or colored shoe polish every 5 to 10 wears, depending on use.

Glasses

Daily care. Clean the lenses with the microfiber cloth provided. Never use a paper tissue or rough fabric — this will scratch the anti-reflective coating.

For a deeper clean. Rinse the lenses under lukewarm water with a drop of mild soap, then dry with the microfiber cloth.

Storage. Always keep them in their hard case when not wearing them. Avoid placing them with the lenses facing down.

Hinges. If they become stiff, a small drop of fine oil on the pivot will restore flexibility.

Jewelry

Remove before. Showering, bathing, swimming, or exercising. Chlorine, salt, and perspiration accelerate oxidation.

Cleaning. A soft cloth after each wear is sufficient. For tarnished gold-plated pieces, polish gently with a specific jewelry cloth (without abrasive products).

Storage. Each piece in its individual pouch to prevent scratches. Keep away from humidity.

Gold plating. Plating wears down with wear and time — this is normal. To preserve its shine, avoid direct contact with perfumes and creams.
